“The Elizabeth Taylor of Burlesque” TANSY is a New York City Staple and international burlesque star. She has over fourteen years of experience in the art of sophisticated sensuality. She is a featured regular at New York’s most highly regarded venues — Duane Park, The Slipper Room, Bathtub Gin, and Jazz at Lincoln Centre to name a few, and is an established name worldwide appearing on stages in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Belgium and Spain.
TANSY was co-creator and star of the critically acclaimed off-broadway hit Eager to Lose at Ars Nova. She is listed among the top 50 Burlesque Dancers in the world. She has been featured at The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas on three staggering occasions, and was just selected to compete for the title of “Miss Exotic World” (the highest achievable honor in the world of burlesque) a competition that selects only 8 dancers out of the thousands who apply worldwide. In 2012 she was crowned “Miss Newcomer World” at the World Burlesque Games in London, England.
When she isn’t performing off-broadway and winning international titles, she makes numerous television and film appearances including The Immigrant with Joaquin Phoenix, Netflix’s Bonding, and on three seasons of Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
